Andrew has been professionally working with dogs and handlers, delivering canine education programs to all levels of government, the animal industry and the community for more than 20 years.
Andrew was retained by the National Dog Trainers Federation between 2014 and 2023 to lecture on canine behaviour, anxiety, fear and aggression for their Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour. He is a former law enforcement handler and trainer and has worked for local government in animal management. To this day, he provides consultancy services to federal, state and local government on animal handling, behaviour, law and procedures Andrew is the largest provider in Australia of vocational safe dog handling, apprehension and bite prevention training delivering over 40 courses a year to the dog industry, all levels of government, schools and community groups. Between 2006 and 2014, Andrew was the National Secretary of the Australian Service Dog Association (ASDA) and coordinated numerous service dog trials, conferences and canine biathlons. |
